And like that, Platform is over! We really are so sad to being the curtain down on our amazing 2022 show.

36 pieces choreographed & set, dozens and dozens of performers, 100+ hours of sourcing costumes, dress makers, rehearsals, more admin than you can throw a (hand) book at, pointe shoes, tap shoes, all the other shoes, make up and probably a million bottles of hairspray and we are done! 

If you follow us on Facebook, you’d have seen our most recent post with some of the beautiful pictures that were taken. Trawling through hundreds and having to find just 10 for the post was a chore in itself! The performance from all of our students really was inspiring. You will see what an all round school we are. From technical jazz to our exceptional Musical Theatre singers. 

We have received such wonderful feedback from everyone who came to support us. Something we pride ourselves on is how much fun everybody has on stage. And let’s face it, that really is what it’s all about. 

New friendships were formed and these will be friendships that blossom in the coming years. Our senior students really take the lead with the little ones, looking after them, sorting their make up and a LOT of straightening of hair this time around.

We wanted to take a second to say thank you for supporting our school/ JA family and for reading this blog too! Every like, share, comment really does mean so much! 

So, we move on to exam term and I’m sure a few performances thrown in along the way- first stop will be the Queens Jubilee Celebration along Clacton Seafront! So if you’d like to see us in action again- which we know you will- come and see us then!
