What’s new for February? 

February already? How did that happen! We hope 2022 has been kind to you all so far and you have lots of lovely things planned for the next few (hopefully warmer) months! 

We are so excited that we have finally been able to announce the name of our long-awaited 2022 show…. “Platform” 

We are sure we say this every time, but this is going to be absolutely outstanding. We can’t explain how many hours have gone into it so far and it’s just the top of the iceberg… 

After a Rocky two years with little performance opportunity, the whole team has stepped it up a gear. From the costume team, to the students, general production, and choreographers, we have all taken a huge leap into “show term” and you really do not want to miss out! 

We have also decided, we are going to introduce “star of the week!” 

We do not believe in favoritism, everyone at JA is celebrated for their individuality (Miss Gem likes to use the whole “you can’t judge a fish by it’s ability to climb a tree” analogy!) 

So this will be based on one student per week that has done something super special or worked even harder than normal!

It will be for students that have overcome something or stepped out of their comfort zone. Maybe they’ve tackled a tricky step or they have been practicing a trick at home. It’s just a little way to show off our students and their achievements, inside and outside of the studio! 

It will be a great focus to have and we can’t wait to see those faces when it’s their turn to be chosen!
