If you’re looking for welcoming, professional dance classes in Clacton-on-Sea for children, teenagers or adults, you’re in the right place. At JA Performing Arts, we provide a friendly and supportive environment where students of all ages can grow in confidence, develop new skills, and feel part of a positive dance and performing arts community from their very first visit.

We understand that starting something new can feel exciting and sometimes a little daunting, which is why our experienced teachers work hard to ensure every student feels comfortable, encouraged, and included from the moment they arrive. Whether joining us for children’s classes or adult dance sessions, everyone is welcomed into our JA family.

Your First Visit – What to Expect

We want arrivals and collections to be smooth and stress-free for all students and parents.

Drop Off

Please use the front entrance to drop off your child.
Do not leave your child until they have been met by a teacher.
Changing rooms are available if your child needs to get changed before class.

Pick Up

Please arrive on time for collection.
Children will be collected from our side entrance, where a teacher will meet you.

What Should Students Bring?

Bags: If attending more than one class, students may bring a bag and a water bottle.

Water Bottles: If attending more than one 30-minute class, please ensure bottles contain enough water and are clearly named.

Coats: We have a designated coat area for students. Please ensure all coats are clearly named.

Changing Rooms and Waiting Area

We provide a friendly and comfortable waiting and changing space for parents and pupils to use before and after classes.
