New Year!

365 days to make count!

Happy New Year! Another year has flown by and we think we may have blinked and missed it!

We are so happy to be starting this year in our studios and not online, we really missed the “human side” of teaching whilst on zoom in 2020-2021, it was amazing that we managed to keep Dancing together, but there’s nothing quite like face to face!

We are so grateful for all of your presents, cards and wishes over the Christmas Period. We enjoyed being together and lost count of the lateral flow tests we racked up as a family! But all was worth it to be together. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time.

So, the decorations are down, the mince pies have been eaten and we have a blank page ahead of us.

We cannot wait to fill our year with exciting, positive opportunities for all of our JA Performing Arts families. Starting with the launch of TWO Brand NEW Adult pointe work classes! Miss Jackie will be teaching these, alongside our Adult Ballet classes. At the end of 2021, we had Leanne from “Straight to the pointe” attend the studios for THREE days of pointe shoe fittings! We are so happy with the results and, if you know us, you’ll know we are hard to please when it comes to Pointe shoes!!

On Saturday, we had our costume sizing sessions. We are lucky to be working with Anne and Chantelle from “Dance Booth Designs” this year and they are fully supportive of what goes on in Miss Gem’s mind when it comes to costumes!

Keep your eyes peeled, as MID JANUARY we will be launching our Show Name… We will be performing in April at The Princes Theatre and we are blown away with the response and hard work so far.

Looking forward to running into 2022 with you all, whatever this year may bring!
