Student of the week 

How is it november already?! 

We love this time of year, cold walks on the beach, hot chocolates and even some Christmas light spotting on the drive home from JA! 

We are working super hard on our showcase which is approaching on December 3rd- we are lucky enough each year to work at Colchester Arts Centre and it really does set the tone for the festive period! 

So, we have decided to launch a very exciting new award @ JA

We have so many incredible students and incredible things happening each week, we have launched “student of the week.” 

Each week, the teaching team choose someone that has managed to stand out- we look at attitude, progress, lightbulb moments, being an all round wonderful human that encompasses the JA ethos, anything that makes us think “wow” 

We are currently going into week 3! Week one we chose Iris for her sheer determination, attitude and that any task you set you know Iris has listened and rehearsed and will come back stronger! Week two, we chose Annabel. Annabel really does encompass everything we love our students to be. Kind, friendly, fun, progressing and just all round an assets to JA! 

All children are assessed and we would LOVE everyone to receive this award at some point, we think this may take a little while 🙃

So, who’s going to be next week?!
