From putting on your diary wings, hiding in trees and exploring forests to going to Disneyland or Alton Towers on our sailing boats, we still wrap every class up in adventure! The children’s happy excited faces when they leave each class says it all!

It is important to wrap learning up in an expressive, encouraging environment. 

There is also the opportunity to work towards ISTD exams from Pre-Primary (approximately Key stage 1) upwards.

Our Tap & Jazz dance classes are full of energy, fun, and creativity! Children will learn to tap, turn, leap, jump, and express themselves through movement, all while building rhythm, coordination, and confidence. Through playful games, favourite songs, and imaginative adventures – from jungle animals to mini performances – every class is a chance to laugh, make friends, and create lasting memories. Through activities, we lay strong dance foundations while encouraging every child to shine. At JA, we’re a “can-do” team, cheering on every little dancer who joins our classes!

Our Tap & Jazz classes are full of fun, energy, and creativity! Children learn the basics of tap and jazz while building rhythm, coordination, and confidence in a supportive, joyful environment. Through playful games, favourite songs, and imaginative adventures, every class is a chance to laugh, make friends, and create lasting memories – the perfect first step for any budding dancer!

The popularity of this class says it all! Artistic, energetic and bundles of fun. Your child will learn about performance and stagecraft in this ever evolving style of Dance. 

Kidzbop is always on the playlist and we make sure we use the most relevant up to date music and movements. The children love to show this style off to their friends at school, we love hearing about how they’ve shown everyone at their school discos!

All of this aside, this is still a technical, precise style of dance with oodles of personality. Perfect for the child that is born to be on stage and also, for the child that needs a little nurturing and confidence building. 

All of our classes are tailored for all genders and this performance based class is so much fun for everyone.

The focus is on the fun! From improvising different characters to singing our favourite Musical songs, your child really will have so much fun! Musical Theatre is a chance for your child to freely express themselves and make decisions about their own performance, working both in a group, with a partner and independently. A real confidence booster, Musical Theatre brings out the best in our young performers here at JA!

We also teach even our tiniest of students how to vocally and physically warm up so they learn how to keep safe and healthy!

Acro is such a rewarding genre of performing arts! 

Your child will build themselves a catalogue of movements, from forward rolls, to cartwheels and hand springs. 

Acro is a very performance based artform, your child will be excited to show you what they’ve learned in class and we are always so impressed by the ability of the children after a few short weeks! 

Acro will help with body strength, flexibility and confidence. Acro works perfectly alongside genres such as modern and Jazz, especially when it comes to show term!

It is an amalgamation of both Dance technique and acrobatic movements. The transition is made to be elegant, smooth and dynamic. The new, athletic movements will be added into performances to allow your child to perform what they have been perfecting in class!

Our Tots Ballet classes follow our very own Pre School syllabus! Innovative and creative, your little one will twirl, giggle and bounce their way through each class. Always new adventures, their little faces when they leave are priceless!

All based on the fundamentals of ballet. Our pre-School classes help develop performance skills and encourage children to build friendships and confidence.

We love to see our students progressing through the school, many of our current seniors joined us at pre-school age, which is where they discovered their love for the Performing Arts.
